Dan Walker

Life was looking pretty good for old Earl Thudpucker. He had a good job, he'd just purchased a new 1967 Gord pickup truck, had just made the valiant effort to consume two cases of Gusweiser beer, and was relieving himself against the side of his barn to make room for a third. Not giving the matter much more thought than was required to avoid hitting his shoes, Earl was suddenly blinded by a bright light hovering above him in the sky. Earl's shriek of terror was frozen in his throat as he was ripped into the sky, noting in the back of his mind that he had lost the necessary level of concentration and had liberally sprayed his shoes. Earl was only the latest of numerous abductions made by the alien race of the Racknolians. They had only recently discovered Earth, and were investigating the prospect of using the human race as a source of slave labor. Previous efforts had been in vain, as humans proved to be incapable of operating in the extremely high levels of gravity found on the Racknolian home planet. Humans were simply incapable of adapting to the extreme environment within their own lifetime. The Board of the Development of Humans as Slave Labor was beginning to grow worried. They needed a way to justify their funding, and their amusing game of splat the human just wouldn't cut it. As it so often does, desperation led to them making huge leaps and bounds in technology. Modifying the time field stabilizers necessary on a ship to make warp jumps, the Board was able to make a small device that affected one personal time field. They then fed Earl a mineral that halted the bodies decay process, and fitted him with the device. The device accelerated the effects of time on Earl's body, so he would feel the passage of many years of time within the fraction of second. This allowed Earl to do what was previously though to be impossible, to make leaps of evolution within one lifetime. His strength was enhanced to insanely high levels, and his body's density was drastically altered by the gravity levels he experienced. Within a few hours, Earl had developed to a satisfactory level, but he was driven insane by the passage of what had been to him millions of years. The Racknolians now had their slave, but it was one that required constant supervision through their mentalists to keep under control. Earl worked for several years in their mines, slowly regaining his sanity and developing techniques, which he could use to deflect the attempts to probe his brain. Waiting years, Earl finally had the opportunity he'd waiting for, and managed to secure his freedom. Signing aboard a freight ship, Earl traveled the stars, until he was finally able to return home. However, his drastically altered appearance caused people to greet Earl with horror. No longer feeling human he adopted the name Behemoth, but still uses his power to help those that are weaker then him.

Earl was a simple man, who didn't think much beyond his next beer. The passage of millions of years have effectively wiped this personality out. Having experienced eternity, Behemoth has an outlook of extreme patience. Knowing the value of patience, Behemoth thinks things through clearly, and in battle calmly surveys the options available to him. He has a great desire help people, as he knows what it is like to be weak. Effectively being immortal, Behemoth has little fear of death, and is willing to take calculated risks.

I am as stone.

     Armor Skin: Ultimate

  • Reinforced Defenses

In addition to the extreme muscle growth, Behemoth's body's density was drastically altered during the process used to create him. The field of gravity on the Racknolian planet caused the molecules of his body to condense, further enhancing the armor provided by his dense muscle growth. In addition to this, Behemoth somehow managed to incorporate the stone from the floor of his cell into his own body. As his body's density is consistant through his body, it is considered reinforced, making it impossible to find a weak spot in the armor. The constant strain that Behemoth's armor skin has recently endured has caused it to further adapt. Growing thicker and more dense, he is more resilant than before.

Natural Weaponry

     Natural Weaponry: Standard

As a random quirk of evolution, during the time acceleration process, Behemoth developed a series of bony ridges along his body. He has also grown a set of talons over his fingers and toes. When in extremely close combat, Behemoth will attempt to use these ridges in an attempt to gouge his enemies.

No one uses me!

     Mental Defense: Ultimate

Over the years of his slavery, Behemoth was kept under constant mental watch by his captives. In order to even begin to consider escape, Behemoth had to figure out a manner to defeat his captives' powers. To accomplish this, Behemoth began a rigorous regime of mental exercises that eventually led to him being able block off his mind. This power makes Behemoth some what immune to casual mental attacks, and resistant to stronger ones. While the Racknolians were adept at mental skills, their power pales in comparison to the skills possessed by some of Khazan's more powerful mentalists. Upon his initial exposure to these powers, Behemoth has revised and refined his mental exercises to make himself more resistant to the attacks.

He can...WHAT!?

  • Weakness: Power in Item - Hard to Lose

Behemoth was given his trademark red cape early by the inhabitants of the lowtown sector in appreciation for his efforts to protect them. Initially it provided no benefit, but he wore it to lift the spirits of those who gave him the gift. Recently, the lowtown residents managed to raise some funds and have hired a scientist to make some modifications upon the cape. Through a one in a million combination of components, the cape actually managed to work as designed. It operates with Behemoths unique personal gravity and grants him the ability to fly. As he requires the cape in part to fly, if it is somehow removed, he loses this ability. However, doing this would require getting close to Behemoth, something that is not always a good idea. The cloak itself is made of a polymer mesh steel, and will not come off easily.
