Environmental Awareness: Ultimate
Roland reached into his jacket and drew his pistol before grinning. Just like he'd planned.. not like a Chaos Lord and a pair of lesser Daemon's could sneak around him anyway.. they made too big a disturbance in the universal fabric for them NOT to be noticed. A quiver down one of the web's strings.. instincts react with trained efficiency and hurl him aside... just as a fist-sized crater is blown through the wall where his head was a moment before. Damn one of them was behind him.. he felt the disturbance, two floors up and 3 feet to the right. A fire escape.. hmm disturbance is too small for a daemon..... ah crap it's him.
A nasty little addition..
Phasing: Standard
Another hellbore round blew a chunk from nearby masonry, showering Roland with dust. So much for the plan he thought bitterly. Ah well at least it gave him a chance to try out his new ammunition. The undead assassin suddenly exploded from behind cover, hurling himself in a dive across the alley and the pistol in his hand barked three times. His opponent was smart though and kicked the door beside him out to interpose itself before the bullets impacted. What he hadn't counted on was them not even touching the door. All three rounds passed silently through the sheet metal without even marking it before phasing back into the physical plane as their target lay before them.

Roland smirked as he sidled up against the dumpster. He'd heard his rounds impact and his foe fall to the ground somewhere around here. Time to finish their little feud once and for all he thought, drawing the second .45 auto from his coat. It, like its now more experienced brother also fired rounds which would pass through anything that wasn't their designated target. He stiffened when he felt a subtle vibration through the dumpster. 'So Crucifix.. what say you and I call it a night eh? Go back to our respective homes, drink ourselves into a stupor and pass out. Sound good?' the assassin remarked flippantly. No reply. He sighed. 'Ah well them... I guess it's the usual. then....' and both killers spun in the same instant.
Plan B.. don't get shot
Acrobat: Standard
Roland spun as he felt his opponent move. Why couldn't things ever go the easy way? The assassin of the Lords of Order hit his back, both legs shoving against the dumpster as he kicked off, sliding on his back along the alley's slick pavement, his pistols blazing away. Answering hellbore rounds punched through the dumpster and he roled backwards before leaping towards the wall and using it to springboard into a flip, trying to clear the dumpster from his line of fire.
Plan C... shoot them first
Marksman: Standard
He caught a brief glimpse of a moving trenchcoat and fired. The round smashed into his target's shoulder, elicting a grunt of pain and a triumphant smirk... which vanished and was replaced by one of concentration as his target rolled to his feet and took off. Asphalt crunched as Roland landed, knees folding him as he dropped into a kneeling stance and let loose with a barrage from both guns. Most of the shots were dodged, and the rest only scored glancing hits thanks to Crucifix's frantic dodging. he had just passed through the door to an apartment complex when both weapons clicked empty.
Quick-Draw training
Super Speed: Supreme
His hands blurred and a spiritchaser was cluthced in said hand less than an eyeblink later. Roland sighed. He was getting faster.. but he still wasn't fast enough to outdraw Crucifix. Both men knew the only reason he'd ever survived against the man in the first place was due to the rather nasty abilities of his weapons. The Chaos Lord's assassin was both faster, more experienced, and to top it all off he was a better shot to. Well speed wasn't as big an obstacle anymore.. now if only he could get the others taken care of.
