Despair is like a cloud hovering over everything. Some people get stuck under it as it passes by and it always ends up bad. This always keeps it living because being busy and all no one ever gets to really look up at the clouds anymore and notice him hovering over. By the time people usually notice it's too late and they were already affected.

The cloud or energy form Despair is made up of is also very deadly and that's why it's so hard to avoid it. It comes in forms of tragic things such as sickness. The the effects from coming in contact with him are usually fatal.

Despair does get around or it would be very hard for the whole world to be full of despair. You can't pick up a newspaper that doesn't make you feel a little sad on the inside. Of course Despair is always there causing trouble.

Despair attacks in many forms whether it at your physically or everything around you. Despair has often attacked someone in destroying their home with a huge hurricane out of no where. Making them lose all of their possessions and wishing they were dead. Many devastating Hurricanes and blizzards are all its doing.

The way Despair works actually is kind of smart in a very simple way. He hangs up there in the sky just hovering in there. No body can feel nor touch him until he strikes. Most people don't even notice him and if they did I don't know what they could do. Everything goes through him as if he was a real cloud. So all you can do is run when you see the signs of despair.

It would still be kind of pointless to run though because it's like he got eyes behind his back or something. It sees everything going on around him. So you can't escape Despair. You might as well give up.
