Growing up in Japan Katsuo didn't really have any family or friends. At the age of 10 he was put in a foster home because his mother was doing drugs and his father was abusing his mother. In the foster home he meet a young boy named toraburu and together they looked out for each other and started to become criminals. When Katsuo was 15 he meet the love of his life Hanami. At first he was really shy, until one day he finally had the guts to ask her out and she said yes. During the next 5 years they became engaged and Katsuo completely forgot about Toraburu. Toraburu became jealous and so he kidnapped Hanami and told Katsuo that if he didn't go back to his criminal ways, then he would kill Hanami. Katsuo tried to talk him out of it, but it didn't worked. He finally understood that Toraburu wasn't kidding around and in fact had to go back to his criminal ways in order to save the one he loved. When Katsuo was 25 he told Toraburu that he didn't want to do anymore criminal acts and begged him to let Hanami go. Sadly, Toraburu told him that she died of a deadly disease and could not save her. When he heard the news, Katsuo left the criminal business behind and Toraburu with it. After the incident Katsuo became a cop and became really good friends with his partner. One night while working on a case, then got a call saying that they need backup at a local bank because it is being robbed. When they arrived there they came to the conclusion that it was a trap and sure enough it was. The evil mastermind was in fact Katsuo's childhood buddy Toraburu. When he figured out who it was he wanted to kill him, but his partner didn't let him. While trying to hold back Katsuo his partner was shot and died instantly. Katsuo was devastated and finally wanted to make a change so he decided to travel the world and found the best martial artist master in town and decided to train under him for a while. During that time period he mastered hand-to-hand fighting and also chi manipulation. Not only that though, he unlocked powers he never thought he had. After thanking his masters for everything, he decided to go back to Japan and figured it was time to put a stop to Toraburu once and for all. When he figured out where Toraburu was hideout was, he didn't hesitate and took his chance. When he saw Toraburu, he went to confront him, but Toraburu told him that he doesn't go on a life of crime anymore. So Katsuo could not ignore it and forgave him, and from then on Toraburu became an ally to him. Katsuo began taking down crime and stopping criminal acts and soon became known as the "Silver Guardian."

Katsuo or Silver Guardian has the type of personality that lights up the room. Although he had a crappy childhood he still manages to smile, even when the odds are not in his favor. He is the type of person that tries to find to good in everyone, even when the person doesn't know it him/herself.

Enhanced Intelligence

Although Katsuo had a rough childhood he always loved to learn. He loved to study about the human body because he wanted to learn where everyone's weak points is at. As he grew older he continued to study on different subjects such as math, history, science, and english. Since he didn't have any money to go to school he was determined to become one of the smartest people in the world so he found himself a tutor and the tutor taught him chemistry, criminology and forensics. As he grew older he wanted to acquire more knowledge so he was able to save up and go to the University of Tokyo and later dropped out after two semesters. Then he later spent his money to go to Kyoto University and acquired more knowledge.

Hand-To-Hand Fighting

When he swore to protect what is good he studied and received training in multiple martial arts under various instructors, man-hunting under different Frenchman, stealth and reconnaissance under the Japanese ninja and other certified shinobi, hunting under the African Bushman, traditional healing disciplines under Nepalese monks and even ventriloquism under skilled practitioners.

Enhanced Senses

While training under different masters, he learned to adapt to his surroundings and was able to detect if anyone is planning attack. Ears pick up every single sound, and can decipher layer upon layer of noise. He has the ability to pick up a conversation from a mile away in a busy city. The silver guardian can detect specific smells, and locate their origin. He may even be able to tell if some one is lying by which hormones they excrete. He has eyes enhanced to see with amazing clarity, distance, or color, perhaps even in a different spectrum of light or into another dimension. He may users may even upgrade to Heat Vision or X-Ray Vision. In battle the silver guardian can see incoming attacks and quickly find a way to dodge the attacks.

Regeneration

The Silver Guardian is able to recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, which sometimes makes him slow or stop aging. If he is injured in battle he is able to regenerate while still battling. He has been shown to fully heal from numerous gunshot wounds, severe burns covering most of his body, and regenerate missing eyes within a matter of seconds

Combat Planning

He is able to come up with a plan to physically disable the enemy and is able to find a way to trap the enemy. He is also able to find weaknesses in the enemy and is able to get out of any predicament.

While as a cop he would stay up late hours investigating different cases and was able to pinpoint there next location. He was able to solve any crime that was committed and was able to find a reasonable solution.
