Claude is the silent protagonist and player character of Grand Theft Auto III (GTA III). He is left for dead after a bank heist with Catalina, resulting in his arrest by the police. Claude later escapes with 8-Ball when the Callahan Bridge is blown up. Claude's name is never disclosed in the game.
