The Set-Up:

LIVE from the Arena of Khazan the Battle Arena at the Nexus of all Realities! We will be bringing you all the Action here today from the side lines. You'll join us right here in the blood stained fighters pit for what is sure to be an Epic battle.

From the Arena North Gate it is six of Spider-Man's Most dangerous foes: Doctor Octopus, Electro, Mysterio, Green Goblin, Rhino, Sandman.

From the Arena South Gate it is six of Batman's Most dangerous villains: Joker, Poison Ivy, Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Bane.

Out onto the sand of the Arena the two teams step. They face each other across the expanse of the legendary Khazan fighters pit.

The Sand is warm. The sun is hot. The crowd is in a good mood. It is a good day to die.

The Bat Villains have this fight. Look, Spidey's villians are all Meta-Human but they have just the Mental capacity to match wits with a young, personally troubled Peter Parker. If they were any smarter they'd be somebody else's villain, right? They are hardly Universally Feared. The Bat Villains have to deal with Batman. That makes them all extremely clever. And most of them are, indeed, Universally Feared. Lastly, What is with all the green in Spiderman Villain costumes? Seriously. Does Spiderman have it in his contract that all villains must wear green?

The Spider Villians walk away with this. Look, I don't care how clever you propose the Bat Villains are. This is a Meat Grinder. Power wise... just looking at raw meta-human potential... your Bat Villains are a candle compared to the five-hundred watt halogen lamp that is the Spider Villains, baby. Also, you know what else? Your team is filled with solo operators. The Spidey Villains are criminal, sure, but not of the anti-social psychotic variety. Just the good old fashioned Greedy kind. They may work together better.
